Truth often seems relative. On the path of knowledge, we adopt the strictest criteria for truth. This ensures the reliability of the knowledge. The criteria for truth on the path of knowledge are:</p>

<p>Change, no matter how gradual, signifies impermanence. Anything that changes is subject to decay, transformation, or eventual disappearance. Because of this inherent impermanence, anything that changes cannot be considered ultimately true. On the other hand, what remains unchanging endures through all circumstances and transformations. It is stable and eternal.</p>
